TORNADO Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) has gained its wide publicity because of two facts. The First, and most crucial is its criticality towards the continued mission capability of the TORNADO (Both Types IDS & ADV) Fleet as one of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) vital defense arms. Second, is being the first PDM Program to be performed for the TORNADO Aircraft in the Kingdom and with the involvement of a Saudi Arabian Economic Offset Program Company. 

With this in mind, ALSALAM has taken the challenge and started the preparation for the Program in the early 1996. The Contract was awarded in August 1996 and by July 1997 the first Aircraft has arrived to ALSALAM Site.

We are making improvements on our processes daily, upgrading our facilities, and investing in the future to insure the Royal Saudi Air Force has the finest fleet of fighter aircraft in the world.  We look forward to many years of close association with the Royal Saudi Air Force.

After six years of continuous success, TORNADO PDM has managed to build RSAF trust and confidence in ALSALAM capabilities and to gain vast experience in TORNADO Servicing. With a total Manpower of 125 Employees, TORNADO PDM continued to provide qualified Saudi National while keeping a percentage of Expatriates
