RSLFAC-MSS

This contract serves as the basis for services and support designed to assist the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) in the accomplishment of its defense mission through Contractors and Directed Manning Augmentees (SMAs) The primary objective of this contract is to address responsibilities to provide MSS and the RSLFAC in maximizing aircraft operational capability, and achieving training objectives in supporting the mission by: Providing technically qualified DMAs to augment, assist, train and advise RSLFAC personnel in the areas of logistics, operations and training in order that aircraft operational capability can be sustained.

The MSS contract also provides for establishment of material support activities:

  • Army Depots Repair and Return Program.

  • Commercially Sourced Repair Facilities.

  • Repair and Return Tracking and Retrieval System.

  • Ship to and Freight Forwarders Support.

  • The Technical and Logistics Support Management.

  • Contractor Program Manager, Contractor R&R Manager.

The MSS contract is necessary in coordinating with the RSLFAC to insures that the personnel and the support services of Repair and Return helicopter components are in place to support the operational capabilities and mission of the Royal Saudi Aviation helicopter fleet of:

  • AH-64A Apaches Attack Helicopters.

  • UH-60A/L Black Hawaks.

  • 406 Combat Scouts.
