Helicopter Technical Support Program (HTSP)

On 23 March 2002 Alsalam was selected by Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) to provide helicopter technical support at several airbases. This award is based on Alsalam’s experience on the types of aircraft involved. Prior to this award, Alsalam had been providing maintenance services to Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) helicopters. This activity remains currently in effect.

The three-year contract will continue through 22 March 2005. Under its terms, Alsalam will provide technical support for RSAF helicopters. The range of helicopters to be supported includes Bell 412, 212, 206 and 406, Blackhawk UH-60, Apache AH-64, as well as the Sikorsky ASH-3D (VIP).  

Alsalam provides qualified, direct manning personnel (DPM) to augment, assist, train and actively support RSAF personnel in maintenance and rework operations as necessary. Alsalam also provides on-the-job training (OJT) for RSAF personnel.
