AWACS Military TSPAlsalam’s involvement in the AWACS and KE-3 program began in 1989. At that time, Alsalam was awarded a subcontract by the Boeing Middle East company (BME). BME was the prime contractor for the "Peace Sentinel" Technical Support Program.

Under the Program, Alsalam provided fully qualified manpower. The primary role was to advise, augment and assist RSAF personnel. Also, Alsalam provided training, expertise and performed functions that are not typically available in the RSAF force structure. This included a variety of personnel to support aircraft operations; such as; planners, technicians, and ground support operations personnel.

Alsalam’s role in the program increased significantly from a limited number of subcontracted employees in 1989. Indeed, at the peak of the program in 2001, Alsalam provided virtually 60% of the total baseline manpower requirements. Alsalam gained much of its experience in the field of technical support services in the Peace Sentinel Program. This experience aided Alsalam in achieving the goal of establishing a significantly larger role in RSAF support programs. Programs like the F-15 TSP.

At this time, Alsalam as the prime contractor is supporting the F-15 TSP. This is the RSAF’s largest on-going project.  Alsalam’s involvement in the Peace Sentinel Program ended in September of 2001. This effort provided over ten years of continuous operational support by the Alsalam team. RSAF officials appreciated Alsalams’ commitment, dedication and contribution to the requirements of the Peace Sentinel Program.
